The Government of Sri Lanka secured a grant from the Green Climate Fund (GCF) through United Nations Development Programme to implement a seven-year project titled “Climate Resilient Integrated Water Management Project” (CRIWMP) in three river basins (i.e. Mi Oya, Malwathu Oya, Yan Oya) in the Dry Zone of Sri Lanka, starting from year 2017.
