The People’s Republic of Bangladesh has received financing from the Asian
Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Southwest Transmission Grid Expansion
Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above.
Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.
The Power Grid Company of Bangladesh Limited (PGCB), (‘the Employer”) invites
sealed bids from eligible bidders for the “Design, Supply, Installation, Testing &
Commissioning of Bogura-Rahanpur 400kV Double Circuit and Associated 230kV &
132kV Transmission Lines on turnkey basis” (herein after referred to as “the Works”). The
Works under this turnkey contract shall have to be completed within 720 (Seven hundred and
twenty) days from the effective date.A complete set of bidding documents in English language, may be purchased by
interested bidders upon submission of a written application to the Company Secretary, PGCB at
the above address, from 3 December 2018 up to one day before the bid submission deadline
and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of USD 400.00 (United States Dollar Four Hundred)
or BDT 32,000,00 (Taka Thirty-Two Thousand only) in the form of Pay Order/ Demand Draft in
favour of the Power Grid Company of Bangladesh Limited. The Bidding Document may be sent
through a courier for an additional fee of BDT 10,000.00 (local delivery) or USD 120.00
(International delivery) in the form of Pay Order/ Demand Draft in favor of Power Grid Company
of Bangladesh...
