Additional Information: Al-Waha (Al-Waha petroleum company), a holding joint-ventured enterprise jointly capitalized by CNPC (China National Petroleum Corporation) and China North Industries Corporation, was founded in 1995 for the execution of Ahdeb Project in Iraq, and for the new opportunity of further cooperation in Iraq.
Ahdeb oil field is located in Kut city, Wassit province of Iraq, with the area more than 300km2, the trap area up to 130km2, and the reserves more than 0.52 billion tons.
