PROGRAM , India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) has undertaken to transform Pragati Maidan into a world-class convention centre in two phases. The proposal entails a total development of built-up area, including exhibition space, a convention centre with
seating capacity of around 7,000 persons with a number of different-sized meeting rooms, space for public circulation in phase-I. The redevelopment of the Pragati Maidan complex entails a comprehensive and integrated approach to set up the much-needed world-class state-of-the-art and iconic integrated exhibition-cum-convention centre.
