Organization/Department : Ministry of Electricity / South Electricity Distribution Company , Project Title : Electricity Services Reconstruction , Scope of the Consultancy Services and DetailedTasks: The services wil l comprise of 2 phases with some of the activities runningconcurrently: Phase 1. Theconsultant shall provide technical support related tothe conceptual design, technical specifications, preparation of detailed Bill s of Quantities (BoQs) in accordance withinternational design standards, preparation of Bidding Documents, preparation of safeguardinstruments (e.g. ESMP, RAP) acceptableto the World Bank and assisting SEDC/SETC in the bidding process including clarifications t o bidders, preparation of bidevaluation reports and contract award negotiations; and
Phase 2. The consultant shall support theSEDC/SETC in the supervision and management of works for the various project activities, supervision ofEnvironmental and SocialManagement Plans (ESMPs), and Resettlement Action Plans (RAPs), as applicable.
